I do feel bad actually as I eat melons almost every day these days and the amount of waste is too much even if it ends up in bio waste and recycled in a way. I researched what I could do with this watermelon scrap and I found so many recipes using this watermelon white rind and even the very outer peel part. Basically, for the white rind, you can cook with it almost every recipe using radish or cucumber. Just think this white part of watermelon as radish or cucumber, from salad to the main dish such as curry, it can be a great ingredient for many delicious dishes. The best summer fruit, watermelon, it releases heat and thirst. In addition, watermelon is good for the recovery of fatigue, rich in vitamin C, also prevents body swelling, and has a skin whitening effect. But what do you do with watermelon rind after eating a watermelon? There are many ways to utilise watermelon peels, such as eating as raw, roasting, stir-frying, drying. Not only a lot of uses but also the best in taste.

Julienne the white rind and salt it.

Squeeze the water out of the salted rind.

Add Korean salad dressing.

Cut the white rind in cubes shape.

Boil vinegar: sugar: water (1:1:2) and pour into it.

Let it cool and serve as a side dish.

Boil the water and leave for 10-15mins and drink.

Prepare 1 tbsp honey and 1tbsp flour.

Boil the outer part of watermelon in the water for 30mins.

Cool it and keep the water in a bottle and use it before or after brushing teeth.
